When He opens our eyes to His goodness you cannot help but brake forth into humility and forgiveness, repenting of every wrong thing in your life that is revealed to you by His spirit.I was in a rather “complaining to God” mood the other day. I was asking Him the “why’s and the wherefore’s” on my way to the grocery store and in a not-so- Godly- mood. I quickly scurried around to get my few articles. Then I was stopped in my tracks. When I checked out I could not help but notice the clerk greeting me with the biggest smile. I was trying not to reveal my shock as I looked at this clerk completely covered with huge bumps on her face looking like a person from outer space. Huge wards about ½’” deep all over her precious face. She looked like some one from outer space.I got out of that store so fast pushing back my tears, trying to calm myself, for I was visibly shaken by the sight. Then God’s tender revelation came to me. What if that had been me? How would I handle life? Would I have a dear husband, children and grandchildren? Would I just bury myself in self-pity and grieve and not ever come out of my house? What would I do with myself? How good God is to give me so much here on earth as well as eternal life in the presence of Jesus. His goodness began to overwhelm me: I cried all the way home thanking Him for His goodness.2 Peter 1: 3-4 says that “He has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness”
Friend, do you feel disturbed and even sad because of all the “ junk” you are going through?
He is a good God and loves you and even allows all these trials to work in your life so you become more like Jesus our precious Savior.
Give up your self-focus, look Him in His face and see His nail-scarred hands, pierced for you even if you had been the only one here on earth. He loves, loves, loves you.
I hear Jesus say: “It is out of My love and adoration for you that I gave you My life as a sacrifice so You could be free to live with me forever. Let Me show you how much I love you and how I am always praying that you will not fail. My arms are open wide to hold you in your pain and rejection. Let Me give you Myself.”

Drawn by God
This devotional book has 52 short chapters and 176 pages. Each chapter starts with a question, has a biblical background scripture that is appropriate for the title of the chapter and then discusses the answer to that query through the eyes of the author’s vision of God. The chapter ends with a prophetic word from Jesus’ heart saying “I hear Jesus say…” Every chapter ends with a drawing by the author or an inspired artist who knows Jesus intimately.
The book will make you hungry to know more of Who God is and answers questions like, “Does He really care about the small stuff in my life? How can I give Him first place when I feel like I am losing it and I feel He does not love me anymore? Do we need conflict in our life? What about generational blessings? How far will He go with me? What about impossible situations? How do I ever attain to living a life that is bathed in God’s rest?”
The book also shares personal examples of how the author faced tremendous difficulties in her own life. How in her youth during the war in Holland they were hiding Jews right under the nose of the Nazis who occupied a castle next door. The pain she experienced in her broken youth when she felt like no-one even realized she was around. How God became her Father and her Mother when she herself was just a young mother, longing to be free from much bondage.
The book is based on spontaneous prophetic art and how God wants to speak to each one of us not only through His precious word, but through anything that comes our way
Spontaneous Prophetic art is practiced in some churches where the artist steps forward as the worship starts and asks God for a spontaneous picture for the congregation. After the worship, the artist explains the meaning of the picture and shares what she or he senses God wants to say to the people at that point in time.
Most of us have heard the maxim, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” We may try a hundred word-related ways to comprehend a truth, but somehow, pictures engrave the heart. When the picture matches the words well, the reader is more deeply impacted.
Each devotional highlights an aspect of life – a challenge, a question, an irritation, a potential decision – and offers biblical truths in a practical, encouraging voice. See sight panel how to obtain this reviving book. Orders outside the USA pleas pay an extra $5 for shipping by air.
