Did you know that God can change impossible circumstances and make you prosper, all because you decide to worship and petition God in the most adverse circumstances?
In Daniel 6 we read that Daniel knew he would be thrown to the lions if he continued to worship and thank his God. He opened the windows on purpose so he would be seen by his accusers who had a contract out on him if he worshipped any other god but theirs. The king was in agreement with this contract. It was made a law that no one was to ask a favor from any god but whom they had agreed on, and yes, the king loved Daniel and knew that this man had his own God.
We all know the story how they caught Daniel praying to his own God, not theirs. As a result he was thrown to the lions. However, God miraculously shut the mouths of the lions. How awesome is that!
You may wonder how God is able to shut the mouths of your lions. I don’t know, but He is able with the breath of His mouth to destroy all your enemies in one fell swoop. Second Thessalonians 2:8: “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth.” One blow from His mouth and Satan is demolished!
Daniel would not compromise when he was tested. Instead, he worshipped and thanked his God. The whole empire trembled and feared the God of Daniel who prospered greatly because he did not “sell-out” the One he loved. You cannot lose when you do the right thing. Never forget this…God will”out-honor” you when you honor Him first.
Below we have a picture of a person who was untangled from a ” barb wire” situation and I hear Jesus say: “When you choose to exalt Me in difficult circumstances I will meet you in unexpected ways. It will surprise and take you back in thanksgiving of Who I am, a God that is full of surprises and blessings. I have created you to be a Daniel, a Peter and a Joseph. Therefore, walk in your calling and you will fulfill My will.”

Drawn by God
This devotional book has 52 short chapters and 176 pages. Each chapter starts with a question, has a biblical background scripture that is appropriate for the title of the chapter and then discusses the answer to that query through the eyes of the author’s vision of God. The chapter ends with a prophetic word from Jesus’ heart saying “I hear Jesus say…” Every chapter ends with a drawing by the author or an inspired artist who knows Jesus intimately.
The book will make you hungry to know more of Who God is and answers questions like, “Does He really care about the small stuff in my life? How can I give Him first place when I feel like I am losing it and I feel He does not love me anymore? Do we need conflict in our life? What about generational blessings? How far will He go with me? What about impossible situations? How do I ever attain to living a life that is bathed in God’s rest?”
The book also shares personal examples of how the author faced tremendous difficulties in her own life. How in her youth during the war in Holland they were hiding Jews right under the nose of the Nazis who occupied a castle next door. The pain she experienced in her broken youth when she felt like no-one even realized she was around. How God became her Father and her Mother when she herself was just a young mother, longing to be free from much bondage.
The book is based on spontaneous prophetic art and how God wants to speak to each one of us not only through His precious word, but through anything that comes our way
Spontaneous Prophetic art is practiced in some churches where the artist steps forward as the worship starts and asks God for a spontaneous picture for the congregation. After the worship, the artist explains the meaning of the picture and shares what she or he senses God wants to say to the people at that point in time.
Most of us have heard the maxim, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” We may try a hundred word-related ways to comprehend a truth, but somehow, pictures engrave the heart. When the picture matches the words well, the reader is more deeply impacted.
Each devotional highlights an aspect of life – a challenge, a question, an irritation, a potential decision – and offers biblical truths in a practical, encouraging voice. See sight panel how to obtain this reviving book. Orders outside the USA pleas pay an extra $5 for shipping by air.
