Are there times in your life when you just are not aware that Jesus is orchestrating everything you are going through?
Sometimes I go my merry way and do things “just because.” Later on, I realize that it was Jesus Who kept me from hurting myself , blessing or even injuring others.
Sometimes we bump into certain people and scratch our head as to how in the world we could meet up with them: seemingly, we had lost contact with them. It would seem that Jesus had to go through many “hoops” to cause us to come together; yet, we just call it a “coincidence.”
Two followers of Jesus walking on a country road did not recognize this gentle and different Man walking right next to them breaking the bread of life. They did not recognize this Man Who had just given His “very Life” for them; having fresh wounds in His hands as proof.
The disciples themselves were with the King of Kings for three years, but did not know Who He really was: a servant laying down His life for the world.
Sometimes we blindly walk through life, knowing Jesus, but not really being aware of His presence. He is aware of every step we take, every move we make and every thought we think. However, do we truly realize that He is as near as the very breath we take? And do we fully understand that He desires to be part of all our thinking and doing?
Then why are we not more aware of Him in our daily life? We know that this deficiency is not His “fault.” Could it be that we are not used to making Him part of every thought, decision and situation? Maybe we need to remind ourselves over and over to “practice His Presence” continually.
Perhaps we should continually ask Him to reveal Himself to us; as simple as that. Questions like: “What are you doing, Lord?” or “Is this what You want?” or “Would You go shopping with me?” His delight is for us to ask Him anything that is on our heart and to be more aware of His Presence. Then you will hear Him to say, “This is God, this is not.”
He said, “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:29) So, we need to practice listening to Him, for we can miss out so much in life when we exclude Him and go our own merry way: we will always lose out if we just hear Him, but do not listen and obey Him.
Personally, I have developed a great intentionality about reading the Word to understand what He is saying to me personally. I listen and listen till I faintly begin to comprehend what He is saying. Then I have something to “chew” on till I get more from Him on the subject.
May Jesus unplug our ears and open our eyes to fully see Him in all the details of life. May we see how much He suffered for us here on earth, in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. May He take the blindness from our eyes and heart and give us His light to see Him.
Here we have a picture of God healing a blinded eye with the touch of His finger. I hear Jesus say, “My soul desire is for you to see Me in all My ways in your own precious life. My longing is for you to see My glory and My love. So, reach out by faith and trust Me to reveal Myself to you in different ways and by many means.”

Drawn by God
This devotional book has 52 short chapters and 176 pages. Each chapter starts with a question, has a biblical background scripture that is appropriate for the title of the chapter and then discusses the answer to that query through the eyes of the author’s vision of God. The chapter ends with a prophetic word from Jesus’ heart saying “I hear Jesus say…” Every chapter ends with a drawing by the author or an inspired artist who knows Jesus intimately.
The book will make you hungry to know more of Who God is and answers questions like, “Does He really care about the small stuff in my life? How can I give Him first place when I feel like I am losing it and I feel He does not love me anymore? Do we need conflict in our life? What about generational blessings? How far will He go with me? What about impossible situations? How do I ever attain to living a life that is bathed in God’s rest?”
The book also shares personal examples of how the author faced tremendous difficulties in her own life. How in her youth during the war in Holland they were hiding Jews right under the nose of the Nazis who occupied a castle next door. The pain she experienced in her broken youth when she felt like no-one even realized she was around. How God became her Father and her Mother when she herself was just a young mother, longing to be free from much bondage.
The book is based on spontaneous prophetic art and how God wants to speak to each one of us not only through His precious word, but through anything that comes our way
Spontaneous Prophetic art is practiced in some churches where the artist steps forward as the worship starts and asks God for a spontaneous picture for the congregation. After the worship, the artist explains the meaning of the picture and shares what she or he senses God wants to say to the people at that point in time.
Most of us have heard the maxim, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” We may try a hundred word-related ways to comprehend a truth, but somehow, pictures engrave the heart. When the picture matches the words well, the reader is more deeply impacted.
Each devotional highlights an aspect of life – a challenge, a question, an irritation, a potential decision – and offers biblical truths in a practical, encouraging voice. See sight panel how to obtain this reviving book. Orders outside the USA pleas pay an extra $5 for shipping by air.
